Hey guys.... Seriously thinking of buying a travel trailer for a cross country cruise with the kids ....

Having a hard time finding a quality luxury trailer... The Airstreams are pretty cool but pricey ...

Do you think a 2008 LC could tow the 25FB - I tow my boat but its only around 4000 lbs ..

Thanks again,

Agree, the MUD search engine is not the best. I just remembered the string and found it.

This rig is capable of towing a lot. My comments in that post confirm that it can handle big load for a long time, but I sure wish the gearing was different at highway speeds. I will do my return trip - 850 miles this weekend with the same load. Wish I had gear 4.5!

What about a brake controller? Wouldn't that be a good hop up when towing something big that probably has trailer brakes?

My guess - not an issue if this 300 can do it.

Yes, trailer brakes and brake controller absolutely required.

Make sure not to buy any used red Chrysler 300's in Alaska!!! They must have destroyed that vehicle, that looks like a 31' Airstream.

That poor transmission!!

I wonder what that 300 is rated to tow?
