Looking for some input to what air box to run, tried the 60 series but found it too large to fit.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Pic of SORs stainless hood hooks, look nice and should eliminate rust bleed through. Gotta scuff them epoxy prime and paint pewter gray.

Great rig, Radd! That is exactly what I want to do with my 45. I envision getting my hands on a rolling chassis 40 series and transplanting my H/H55F/split case in that bad boy. Then I want to drop an HZ into the 45. I already have scored everything I need from the bellhousing back; however, I still need the powerplant. I love the way that engine looks inside your truck.

Rob,

Do a search on "Donaldson air cleaners" on the net. There are cylindrical air cleaners of various sizes and various configuration of inlets and outlets to work with your project.

BTW, the stock exhaust pipe has a flexible section between the exhaust manifold and the resonator. Are you not running this?

I actually wanted the flex pipe but could not find it at the time, maybe I will order and install it, couple minutes with the saws all..

Thanks Dave, I will look at the Donaldsons cleaners and go to the wreckers and see if there is a 2LT air cleaner.

Wonder if it matters Wayne..... if the air cleaner is out of the 2LT or 2L?

the ones from the LJ71 are laying flat so they take up less room. if i can get my darn camera to work i will post a couple pics...
