Well it is done. Today I transferred ownership of "La Maquina Segador de Almas" affectionately known as "Maggie", my 1988 Fj62, to my Uncle. She will retire at the family house in Cholla Bay; so that she can spend her last years running on the beaches in Mexico. I figured I would post a couple of final pics of her. The first is when I first purchased her in 2004 and final was from about a week ago as she looks now. I will see her from time to time when I am south of the border, and I will post up pics of her retirement from time to time as that happens. I will miss her! So, those of you who venture south of the border may see her out front of JJ's or around Rocky Point, and if you do please say, "Hey who owns that FJ62 out front?", and then say hi to my Uncle Greg. Vaya con dios mi amiga!

She goes in tact, with an Aussie locked front axel to Mexico, with an option on my part to buy her back if my Uncle decides to sell her. As a 60 series fan, I couldn't bare to see her legs ripped out from under her, her body parted out or sent to a scrap yard, and her legs put on a 40. I love the 40 as well, and I understand why you want the axels. But.... I spent too many hours over the last 9 years putting her back together properly, and I'm glad to say that my Uncle respects the blood and sweat I put into her. He also has been a fan of this rig since I bought it, and has asked repeatedly to buy it over the years. So, it is his in tact.

Sorry Claudia, wish I could have helped you out.

"And this house just ain't no home", "Anytime she goes away"..

I see a cool excuse for a "que lastima" south of the border chill..;) Kudos for keeping her in the family.
