Hi all:
I just noticed a puddle of AHC fluid underneath my rear passenger tire on my '16 LX570. I recently had the pump removed and reinstalled by (Lexus) and cleaned (by me) to address a contaminated AHC fluid issue. It's been over a month and everything has been normal - no error codes, car raises/lowers fine, and no leaks. After observing the puddle today, I opened the AHC compartment and confirmed my AHC reservoir is now empty. I also just checked tech stream and don't see any error codes--- yet.... I haven't started the car.
I am going to lower the spare tire tonight for a closer look. Any obvious connections to the pump I should look at to find the leak and a loose connection? Since I didn't remove or install it, I am not sure where the potential leaking connection could be. Also would it be visible without removing the full bumper cover or dropping the whole pump assembly?
I know the fluid goes out from the pump at the upper right port in this picture. Just looking for some advise before I have a little more time to look at it tonight or tomorrow. What a PITA location for this pump. Thanks.
