My truck: 2006 LX470 with 150k miles with the KO2's on it. Never had any trouble before. Was driving back from the outer banks and started noticing a bit of resistance with turns. It evolved to whenever I turn, but especially hard left, there is a rubbing sensation/sound and the suspension drops radically on the right front. Maybe by 1-2 inches. When I straighten it out it seems to level off. I dropped it through low and hi and it eveningly lowered and raised, so its something about turning that is inherently the problem. I'm mechanically an idiot. The nearest dealership is 2 hours away for someplace that would know how to do AHC. If its cheap I'd love to fix it for the next little bit. At least until I can sell my house. On the flip side if its FUBAR I'll probably pull it off and replace the suspension. Any suggestions? I did turn it and get down and the tire does not appear to be rubbing on anything. I've had these tires for 2 years and never had an issue.

I would first start with Re-indexing your torsion bars. While you're at it give them a couple cranks.

Can you repeat the problem in your driveway? Turn the wheel left and right, what does it do? If you hear rubbing a guess may be the sensor bracket rubbing on the tires while turning and causing an issue. Possibly the sensor bracket has come loose or you've yanked on it.

@Dan240 I was reading some threads about this sensor bracket. I can repeat it in the driveway and I tried to get in there and see but my heads to fat and I'm too stupid to know what I'm really looking for. I've got an appointment after lunch at the shop to have them look at it and check the pressures with Techstream. It sounds like a good probable cause since when its straight the AHC seems to work just fine.

I just removed my AHC this past weekend. If you need any parts I am selling everything.
