Hi all new member and new owner of a beautiful 2006 100 series.
So on the way back from a recent trip the front passenger side (UK car so left side) hose that connects the top of the shock to the accumulator burst where the hard-line connects to the soft. Front end dumped down to the bump stops. Luckily I was pretty much outside my house so not to much of a drama.

I've now got the replacement hose which foolishly I expected to come with the required hardware which it didn't.

I cannot for the life of me find either the official parts or the spec for the bolts and o ring / backup ring so I can buy replacements.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The new line should've come with the O ring in it, where did you buy it from. As for the bolts, are you referring to the two 12mm bolts holding the end of it to the strut mount? Take some pics so we can get on the same page to help. Also, good luck snaking that line in, it took me a lot of time and cursing to replace it, and i have a lift too.

Bought it from Tuning Developments. Seems decent enough and it might have the o ring in it if it's pre pushed into the end of the hose, also it's packed with grease?

Yes the 2 12mm bolts are a rusty POS so would like to replace. Just don't know what thread/ pitch and length they are.

One thread I read said they're m8?

I know it's going to be a pitta but you gotta do what you gotta do right? I had it laying next to the old one in situ and it looked doable. Also read threads of people achieving it so I don't mind putting in the grind to get it figured out.

Those two bolts you can just take from anywhere on the body that uses a 12mm bolt for now, take one from the running board.

Havalook at this thread 04 LX470 Rear AHC Cushion, Bushing, and O-Ring Replacement - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/04-lx470-rear-ahc-cushion-bushing-and-o-ring-replacement.1303364/post-15202890 with some more info on the o-ring and backup ring (which actually works as a kind of spacer/support for the o-ring). There are some good pics of the o-ring from user Bull Moose in there.
That thread is mainly about rear shocks, but the fronts are the same, just easier to get to.

The front shocks had a thinner top on the early years, so if you are ordering, get the ones for the later years.

There shouldn't be any grease inside the bracket/pipe/hose. Wash and blow out. That grease could impede the functioning of the actuator.

Thanks for posting your link, after reading through and on a bit I now know how to interpret the little stars in the parts diagrams! 9903 = year 99 and 03 = month!!!
