Bit of a long read, any input would be greatly appreciated. So I have the ahc system which hasnt been maintained by previous owners and I'm willing to make a full refresh. I looked at many threads regarding AHC refreshes, and especially this thread. I was planning to change all of the shock absorbers along with accumulators and I believe that will solve the issue. I haven't gotten the parts yet but according to some garages here they told me you just need to change the shock absorbers and do calibration and you'll be fine. So 2 questions, 1. Is there a calibration of such to be done that would really solve the problem? and 2. If I were to replace the parts completely, would I have to do anything extra or should it just function properly immediately?

Note: I've went to countless garages and I haven't been able to find anyone that seems knowledgeable with AHC systems in my country.

You don't need new shocks unless they are leaking a lot of fluid. Mine are original and have 450k miles on them. Just change the globes. You then need to get techstream so that you know when you have the correct pressures.

Basically everything jsolden said but also check your bushings.
Regarding the bushings, is there a thread that has every bushing along with part numbers? Or how many bushings the car has? I'm willing to change them all as I'm pretty sure most if not all are worn out. Thank you!!

1 - Read more AHC threads.
2 - You need to know the ahc pressures and the state of the height sensors.
3 - If the rear springs haven't been changed for a few years, you'll probably need new ones.
4 - For the bushings, use the parts list on partsouq or similar. Good luck.

Before you buy any parts, check all the major bushings for wear.. Will the AHC go up to high when commanded? will it go down to low,t hen back up? if it will, then the system may just need to be set up again. Check your heights, front to back, the front should be about 1 inch or so lower than the back, and front side to side should be the same (measured on a flat surface and from top of inner fender to hub center. Now it is time to buy a cheap Techstream cable from amazon and look t your numbers. Read this post from start to finish before you do anyhing else. Definitive list of AHC maintenance items - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/definitive-list-of-ahc-maintenance-items.604577/page-14 The AHC system is not that complicated, and will perform wonderfully for the life of the rig if maintained.
