Adding an Isspro water temp gauge (along with pyrometer and oil pressure gauges) and wondering if the location in the first picture (on bottom of lower t-stat housing) would be ok to drill and tap?

The second pic is where the OEM stuff is. Still works and don't want to remove it. Port on the left is water temp sender and one on right is what?

Thanks

The location of the first picture works. I would drill and tap that boss to make it work for the threads of the ISSPRO temperature sender unit.

On the second picture, as you mentioned, port on the left is coolant temperature sending unit, port on the right is sensor for glow screen (pre-heat). Based on the temperature of the coolant, it calculates the time needed on the glow screen for start up.

Keep us posted on the gauges and wiring of your gauges.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Alberto. My gauge should show up tomorrow. Changed my mind from boost to water temp. Already have pyro and oil pressure mounted in the factory altimeter/temp pod on dash. Will post some pics next week after getting it all wired up. Really happy with the look so far. Thanks again
