Hello,
My temp gauge hasn't worked since I got my 83 60 series 4 years ago. The needle moves up ever so slightly but at the end of the day, it doesn't work. I'm planning on replacing the temp sender but from what I've read if you use an aftermarket non-OEM temp sender, the gauge won't read right due to the calibration of the OE sender. I'm looking at a Senkei replacement from City Racer and I'm wondering if this would be a suitable replacement or if should I hunt down an OEM temp sender.

Thank you for reading

You can walk into any Toyota dealership and order a 2F temp sender.

You can also add an aftermarket temp gauge setup since the stock one is notoriously vague. I installed an Autometer sender into my upper radiator hose with an adapter from Glowshift. That feeds a calibrated Autometer gauge that actually has, you know, numbers on it.

I think the Senkai is the OEM
