Advice on lights

What kind of wheeling? Long distance doesn't do much good when you're moving at 1 mph in the rocks, nor do flood lights when you're rocketing through the open desert.

I was under the impression that TRS no longer made those LED bars, so that might be a problem for warranty in the future. You might want to check and see if those lights have been discontinued and see if you can get an even better price. I do have some TRS HIDs though and love them.

I've got a combination of halogens from PIAA and Hella, HIDs from TRS and LEDs from Rigid on my truck and I'm sold on LEDs for everything except very long range or very high speed. My two LED bars are good up to about 80 mph where I'm comfortable seeing everything and being able to stop if needed. If you need really long range, some nice HIDs like LightForce are a good way to go.

Also note that if you'll be in inclement weather or dusty conditions that amber lights or filters make a huge difference in visibility, but they cut down on light output a lot as well.

Couple Mud members doing group buys if you take a look in this very forum.

TRS no longer sells the Morimoto X.BAR. The shops that still have them online either have left over, or have not updated their websites.

Why did they discontinue the x.bar?
