I’m a new member and have been looking at multiple sites to find my answer but can’t find it. I am looking to get advan wheels in a 17x8.5 with a -10 offset. I want to go to 33x12.5 km3s. For now I’m on stock everything as I just bought the GX 5 days ago. I’m not new to modifying trucks as my 2015 tundra pro is heavily modified and sitting on 37” km3s. My question is will a -10 offset work? Will I need a BMC to make the 33x12.5r17s work or is that just for 35s? I will be going with kings OEM shocks all the way around and go to the spring conversion and rip out the airbags. But for now I just can afford the wheels and tires, but want to know if that offset will work. Thanks in advance. I attached pics of the rim and my new ride next to my tundra. My goal with this GX is to make it into a second overland rig for smaller trails. It will be like my tundra with front and rear lockers, full skids, steel bumpers, sliders and gears for the bigger tires. Any help is much appreciated.
Edit
I forgot to ask. If these wheels won’t work. What is the best offset and wheel width to make 33-35 x 12.5 tires work with only a BMC and some plastic trimming. I don’t mind bastardizing to make them fit.

Like the bronze color! What color is your rig that you're putting them on?

That dark grey color. I am going to remove all chrome off of it. Either wrap the chrome or get them painted. Still debating. As of now I am doing all the maintenance on it since I bought it used with 97k on it. Luckily for me it was serviced it’s entire life by a Lexus dealership and looks like it’s never been Offroad and was garage kept. An old couple with no kids and non smokers owned it before me.

What's the trim level? Lux, Prim, standard?

I have SCS Ray 10 wheels, 17x8.5, -10 offset. My tires are smaller than what you're aiming for, though (275/70-17). I didn't have to do a BMC to get it to work, but I can't speak to the tire size you're considering. If you're just asking about the offset, it's fine for me. The wheels are pushed out to the edge of the body work, giving the car a nice stance.

Awesome. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Just wanted to make sure someone has done -10 before I order the wheels. I noticed other rims at 0 offset -10 -38 and 25 offsets that work with our lug pattern. Don’t want to go with too negative with an offset and don’t want to have to use spacers with a higher offset.
For example, my 2015 tundra has a sweet spot of +18 or +25 offset where a small BMC is done to clear 35s and 37s, but when you go to 37s the pinch weld needs to get flattened as well. I’m trying to figure out what is the 1st gen gx460s sweet spot for 33-35s without spacers. Most of the threads I see are with methods or other wheels but with no offset info. Just pics and size of tires. And when there is an offset it’s not -10.

By running a -10mm, you are going approximately -35mm more than the 18" stock offset of +25mm. So yes, you'll likely have to do a BMC due to the aggressive change in OEM geometry.

Ok. I figured as much. Just making sure cause I don’t want to spend 2000+ on wheels if I’m not going to be able to put the 33-35s on. A BMC is not much to do. I felt worse doing the pinch weld mod on my tundra then I did doing the BMC. Ok I’ll see if I can get a deal after Christmas or maybe a actual Christmas sale. I was fortunate to get a BF deal on my gram lights. Not much, but anything helps when you have a new project to buy lots of parts for.
