Adding Crawl Control to the GX470 (1 Viewer)

Has anyone been able to add crawl control to a GX470? I know it's fairly easy on a GX460, but I'm not finding anything for the 470s.

It'd be cool if you could reprogram the DAC to function as a Crawl Control, even if it was at 1 set speed.

Just curious if anyone has attempted it and of so, how it turned out.

It wasn't available as a factory option, so I don't think it's been done. One would need to understand how the GX460 electronic system works and how to integrate it with the GX470 systems. Probably not impossible, but would require quite a bit of electrical and computer know now.

FYI - I agree that it would be a useful feature when wheeling. DAC is great but my foot gets tired from throttle-feathering when wheeling all day.
