I'd like to have an actual temp gauge in addition to the stock temp gauge in my 72 fj55. What are the simplest option(s_ to add an addl temp sender? Ive seen a 2f thermostat housing that has a threaded plug that may work but, I was thinking maybe the stock sender port and somehow split the sender wire to 2 devices? not sure there another threaded hole in the top of the head that's available for an addl sender. Thoughts?

There are 2 threaded (1/2"NPT) holes in the top of my head, I kept 1 for the stock sender and one for the Autometer sender.
In the past I have also used the extra port on a oil-cooler capable water pump for a temp sender...

Thanks ,that makes it easy. Now I'll need to figure out where to wire into the ignition power source ::confused:....
