okay guys here's the unfortunate story. the old 45 has reached the end of the road. I went and had another look at her and the chassis has holes. and more holes. nothing of the body work is salvageable it so badly rusted. apart from the trans hump maybe. so, unfortunately though I hate it, the only thing left is to pick the good bits off of her. if anyone need some they are welcome to drop me a line. the old f engine is still really good it runs like the clappers. really smooth. from what the po said it has about 200,000 no more. has only been round the clock once but odo stoped not to long before it was stored. a lot of things are still good it's just way too rusty to save. probably 1 tonne of bog in da thing. pulling chunks of it of the bonnet for example. I will start pulling her apart in the next few weeks so let me know. cheers

You can always do a grandfathers axe rebuild.

'See that? That there's my pops axe. Its had seventeen heads and twelve handles but she's allllllllll original.' ;)

haha yeah I really need to part it out as I don't have enough time of money to do that. you see the 47 needs a 12ht..., p/s, front discs and 5-speed.;)

okay small update. been talkin to west aussie (top bloke) and this Saturday, his buddy (also a top bloke), is coming to pick the old girl up on behalf of west aussie. hopefully west aussie can find some use for it, add it to his boneyard till he needs it;)
