oooops, bungled the previous submission
here goes again:
this is a a custom built trailer using an older axle, rated at 2000 lbs or so I think. don't know if the springs are original but they are too weak for the weight of the trailer and when I'm loading it up I'm close to bottoming out. They are also very soft and the trailer is easily moving around. No shocks. So I'm thinking about adding a leaf and see if that will help.
Springs are pretty short.
I did a SoA on this.
anything I should know?
added: mmm.... just thought of something: air bags maybe better? can try and even put on the 80 later on...?
