Rebuilding a Trollhole carb I picked up 2nd hand and ordered a Keyster rebuild kit from cruiser teq for an 80-87 carb, most everything looks correct so far, except for the accelerator pump piston, the one that is in the carb measures .557” and fits pretty loose in the bore, the one in the kit measures .589” and doesn’t fit in the bore all the way, both have rubber seal cups, not the factory leather, does anyone know which piston I would need, looking at city racer they list a few different ones but have no idea on the actual specs.
Thanks
Joe.

The only problem I ever had with my Rochester was the accelerator pump bonded to the body with like a chunk of shellac. Car ran poorly and required careful gas pedal use. I freed the leather cup and lubed it with neatsfoot oil. Still there still working since the mid 90's. I think the cup part needs to fit close to pump properly but the body need to move somewhat freely/

I think Mike's sell leather accelerator pumps.
