Just pulled the front cooling unit from my 88 FJ62 in an effort to replace the evaporator, expansion valve, switch, and 30 years of dust and leaves. While pulling it out I noticed that this connector (circled in red) wasn't connected to anything (also it doesn't look like there is anything for the connector to connect to). After scouring the FSM, this forum, and the wiring diagrams, I've come to the uneducated conclusion that this connector doesn't need to be connected to anything. Am I right or should this connect to anything? This is my first major project so I'm being as cautious as possible.
