AC noise (1 Viewer)

I just installed a new AC compressor in the HJ61. The AC blows cold again. The other day I trurned on the AC and after about 15 mins. I heard a click click noise under the dash by the glove box. When I turned the AC off it stopped. It only happens after 10-15 mins. Any ideas ?

Probably one of the relays. I don't have the book in front of me to look (to see that the relay is indeed in that location), but it's a pretty common description for those with functional AC units.

Sounds to me like the a/c amplifier. If it's anything like my FJ60, Check there should be a little box just below your dash mounted. It has a blue knob. You adjust that for the RPM control for your a/c to kick on. Let your vehicle idle and then turn it till it goes off, then turn it slowly till it clicks back on. Not sure if it's correct technique but It keeps mine running good. Then again the HJ61 may be totally different, anyone that knows more than me please chim in.
