ABS Speed Sensor Compatibility for 1994 Land Cruiser

OK. I've been chasing my tail and I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I've tried the built in search function on Mud and a Google search of Mud, and found some ABS speed sensor posts, but none really addressed (or answered) my questions.

I need to replace one of the ABS speed sensors for my 1994 FZJ. It looks like there are some folks advertising the whole assembly for sale, with a wide range of prices ($500 - $1000).

I've been having a hard time getting a straight answer on the part number for the entire assembly. I'm also seeing some people say that the 1994 and 1995+ parts are not compatible, while others are saying they are.

So far, I "THINK" the correct part number for the 1992 - 1994 system is 04895-60020. It looks like the part number for the 1995 - 1997 (and 1996 - 7 LX450) is 04895-60060.

Some questions:

Can someone in the know confirm the part numbers above are correct?
Can anyone with real world experience confirm or deny that the parts are interchangeable?
Can anyone point me to someone selling just the speed sensor? I'm not opposed to buying a used one, but the only place I've found one for sale is at CruiserParts.net, and I saw some posts here saying they're scammers.

I can tell you this. I had a built out 94 with the sensors still in the axles , harness was pulled.
I bought my 96 and swapped the 94 axles over with other stuff. Plugged right into the 96 harness no issues.
Build date of 94 was early

front or rear left or right? Do you need just the sensor? Or the wiring also?

It's the front right (passenger) sensor only.

Can anyone confirm if the sensor from 1995 is compatible with the 1994?

Some of the parts look ups I've found say they are different (92-94 vs 95-97), but I think I saw another thread on here saying the parts might LOOK different, but will work in either.

I designed and built a test rig and tested the waveform, gap and target compatibility of many different ABS wheel speed sensors.

I can tell you from pretty extensive experience that wheel speed sensors are chosen based on target compatibility and to a lessor extent peak output voltage.

What that means is it's just about a sure bet that two ABS sensors that use the same target diameter and tooth profile will interchange.

I can't believe 80 series ABS sensors are that expensive. These things are like $3 sensors molded on the end of a few feet of good quality cable.

This ABS Speed Sensor from a 1995 seems to have resolved the error I was getting from an old speed sensor in my 1994. The two sensors don't look much alike, but if it works, it works.
