Looking for an AA bellhousing to adapt my FJ40 4 speed to a Chevy V8. I’m in the upstate of SC but can drive to get one. Thanks!

Possibly. I’ve only seen the AA one and had been accumulating parts for that. Is the Downey a lot different?Would a downey bellhousing work for you? Also have the rear transfer case mount and clutch fork.
Other than the starter, is it a lot different than the AA setup? Do I need a different clutch kit with the Downey? I currently have an 11” clutch on a 168 tooth GM flywheel with the flat lower profile pressure plate. Do you need a different throwout bearing too? Sorry for all of the questions. I’ll look up the Downey option on here too. Thanks. The Downey bellhousing is a full circle housing. You won’t have to hunt down an inspection cover, but you can’t inspect your clutch either.
Downey BH also requires an oddball starter from a ‘50’s vehicle that bolts to the bellhousing rather than the underside of the block.
Any big differences between them? Which one would you recommend more? ThanksThe Downey should be very similar I used both for V-8. Dave
DM me. ThanksWould a downey bellhousing work for you? Also have the rear transfer case mount and clutch fork.
I want it. I’ll reply back to the DM. Thanks.
Already on it! I can’t wait to put it on the transmission. We opted for the full 360 degree full circle bellhousing design since it is so much stronger, snatch it up as fast as you can, or else I'll buy it.
Did you get my DM?Will DM payment info
