Since several people have asked about my GPS mount on the A-pillar, here are a couple of pics. It's made of 1/8" x 2" x 10" steel stock, and bent to give a good mounting point for a GPS Mount. The same screws that hold the grab handle on hold the mount in place.

Very nice! Mine is on the little 'ledge' so that pilot and copilot can use it

If it ain't broke....

Actually, I have used all sorts of GPS units...this one is still as accurate as the new ones, acquires satellites faster, and has been through rain, snow, sand, mud and heat and is still going!

I bought one exactly like that a little over 6 years ago. The area around the buttons started cracking a few years back, but, other than that, still worked well.
