Get that leak fixed. There is a sizeable bundle of cables running along that step plate and stained carpet. Still an awesome score. Id check out the tanks plans for a bumper and consider selling, but i do like that for a starting point, I would just want to fix those side wings(angle)

Dave doesn't wheel, he just backs into s***, that bumper is fine!

The whole point of getting an 80 was to wheel more. Still though, I think I'm good on back bumper for now.

That bumper used to be on Grant's FJ60 "Wallace" btw.

You can see it fit much better on that truck. When I have Kina build my sliders I'll have him modify the bumper wings to run up high and tight, plus add some legs to the frame to support it better.

I'm going to spend the winter getting it all caught up on maintenance, make sure the suspension is aligned and correct, and fix all the little ticky-tack things. Once again I did nothing to it last night as I've been on daddy-duty all week but Saturday is my day.

By spring I; can start wheeling it and begin making offroad mods then.

I'm going to be in Wilmington, Vt for Thanksgiving, so if you want to take a ride down I could take a look
at what you have for caster correction. If I recall it just has the yellow OME bushings.

I'll be able to tell you what you have for caster correction. But if you need more, I talked to Rick today and he said that if you bring the truck to Wilmington we could call him with some measurements and he'll tell you what to get.
