Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, It is with great sadness in my heart, a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat that I type this post today. Effective immediately I will be stepping down as President of Copper State Cruisers. I have some personal issues that I must address with 100% of my attention. My focus will be such that my duties, while few, as President cannot be performed by me in a reasonable and responsible manner. So as not to cause worry, I will tell you that all of my family is in perfect health and this has nothing to do with anyone being sick. While this may seem sudden, there has been an unbelievable amount of thought put into making this decision on my end. And the decision weighed on me for a long long time. Kevin Patterson will be stepping into the roll of acting President and I am confident he will do a fine job. Kevin has been the VP of CSC for quite some time now and represents the club well. We are often of the same opinion on club matters and he will do a great job. While I will no longer be an officer of the club, it is still my intention to be involved both here on the board and as a semi active member. I will keep my membership active and attempt to participate when I can.

I am thankful to have had the chance to help build this club into a viable entity in the Land Cruiser world and a truly effective force when it comes to community activities and local forest cleanups. All of the wonderful people I’ve met because of this club come to mind as I type and I just can’t put into words my gratitude for the friendships I have built here over the years. Thank you all for a great run!

You represent CSC well and I have nothing but good things to say about my dealings with you on the trails and as a cool dude. Good luck with your situation.
Thanks
Don

You have always impressed me as a leader and please pm me if there is anything I can do to help

I vote to impeach Kevin unless I get a piece of the stimulus program.

While I am bummed that you are steppin down - There is no one that I think should take over more than Kevin.

Will we be having an elaborate "changing of the guard" vows ceremony at the next meeting?:flipoff2: Should I bring a bible so he can be sworn in?:grinpimp:

You almost make it sound like you're dropping off the face of the earth. I hope not.

Good luck President Patterson. We'll be watching you...

Sounds like a self-nomination for VICE PRESIDENT for your piece

OK then, I nominate Spike for VP....DO I hear A second??

I suspect a overthrow plot...involving bacon.

Sorry to see you step down. Glad to hear it's not a problem with the family.

Long live Kevin! Long live Kevin! Long live Kevin!

I was about to start backpedaling, but someone mentioned bacon.

Just how much bacon are we talking?

Not dropping off brother... just moving over.

well good luck with whatever you got going on and I still hope to see the BMX cruiser at a upcoming meet sometime. Take it easy and see ya soon.

Thanks for all that you have done BMAN! I hope to still see you at the meets and if not there, then drop me a PM from time to time. I still need a kick in the ass to get this tranny / transfer case done and then do a trail run with you. I also want to thank you on the kid's behalf. The whole way home after the last meet, he was talking about how sweet your 60 was. You sparked someting in him, and he was already asking me this past Saturday when the next meet was.

Vaya con dios mi hermano!

Hope to see you soon!

Hey Branden... Thanks for all you've done to get this club going... very very much appreciated creating something from nothing as it were. Nice to see you and the family are OK and that you'll still be around to wheel with and cook hot dogs

Again, Thanks!

Good point Mark. Bman, we still expect you to bring the grub;p
