The best way to get OBA on your 80 would be to add a factory air compressor. or use the one youve got if you're rig has it and your willing to sacrifice the cool air... not sure if I would although my 40 had factory air and I converted it, but who need ac in a 40 in MT? anyway the pump for the 80 is probably a denso ten cyl rotary compressor. you'll need to put a high volume inline oiler before the compressor and then use a filter that has a high capacity and is designed to remove oil after. then youll need to have way to drain the oil back to the oiler.. with a valve so you dont just pump the air in circles and you'll have more output than any of the york systems and a bolt up compressor

Jetboy I live in AZ home of the 120 degree days and 100 degree nights (but its a dry heat) you don’t go without AC unless there is something wrong with you.

I have zero room under my hood but I am working (slowly) on an OBA that runs off of the crank pulley onto a jackshaft and behind the motor. Time will tell

Side note: Left AZ June 2 106 degrees arrived in MT June 6 and was snowed on June 8. You guys have no idea what summer is about.

LCPhil I thought of another option for you 80 its out there, but it might be easier than routing the jackshaft you were thinking of. you could build a pully into the front output on your tcase possibly arround the flange? and then get a twin stick setup for the tcase. then mount your compressor to the side of the tcase. so you would be able to unlock the hubs, put the rear in N and the front in Hi and spin he compressor. or for that matter if you had enough lift and a desire to be different you could mount the compressor on the fornt axle ( I can think of a number of reasons not to, but it's an option.) just thought I would throw that out there...

Thanks CDrew... :D
