Hello all. I have a 2002 LC with the nav system (could be relevant to my issue). Over the last few weeks, my entire A/C system would shutoff intermittently for a second or two and then turn back on and operate as usual. This would mostly happen one to three times in the morning when starting the vehicle for the first time that day, two maybe three days a week. Today the A/C system shut off a few seconds after starting the car and won't come back on. I've done as much reading on MUD as I can and can't find a thread addressing a similar issue; most A/C issues seem to come from high engine temps (definitely not the case when starting in the garage in the morning) or low charge (I doubt that's the case sine the entire system shuts off rather than just blowing ambient temp air). On the climate screen of the nav system when working normally, the "A/C" icon will be lit along with the vent setting (dash vents, dash and floor vents, etc.) along with the power level selected. When the system shuts off, I hear a click noise behind the dash, then all of the icons go dark and the system shuts off.
If anyone has any experience dealing with this issue, or any ideas of what a potential fix could be, that would be tremendously helpful. Thanks in advance!
