A/C NON-EXISITENT? HELP (1 Viewer)

Hey guys I have an FJ62 Landcruiser but apparently my model didn't come with A/C? The dash has all the right buttons and nobs but when I look under the hood, there are no hoses through the firewall, no compressor etc. Does anyone know of this being a thing?

Also, apparently vintage air doesn't make a unit for the fj62 landcruiser so I guess what im wondering is how and what do I need to add/replace in order to make my fj62 landcruiser have a/c?

Anyone with a full kit would be willing to sell?

Previous owner could have removed for whatever reason.

Make a post in the classifieds but you're basically looking to source everything individually for it.
Does it still have the evaporator in the cabin

My 1988 FJ62 does not have AC but it's a poverty package. I don't have the AC button on the climate control bezel even. Which is all to say, some 62's did not have AC from the factory, particularly the '88 vintage which was a transition year.

does the hvac control have a blue push button?

are you in love with this rig? honestly it may be easier to sell it and get 1 with a/c

if the rig didn't have a/c, you will need to disassemble the dash to install the evaporator assembly
