a/c 3b (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Looking for a picture of a a/c on a 3b.
Particularly the compressor and its brackets and the idler pulley.

Also does anyone have the Toyota part number for the a/c pulley that is between the water and power steering puley on the crank?

If you're planning on an A/C install on a 3B the system is the same as the equivalent FJ series. The differences are the amplifier which is attached to the evaporator under the dash, the compressor mount, pulley and hose ends. Try and get the compressor pulley and clutch from the FJ as well as the offset was correct in my case (I couldn't find another vehicle in the wreckers with the same offset). A decent A/C shop can make up the hoses if you have some ends and a manifold that will work (I used ones from an Acura when I did mine). The compressor was also a common model.

You can try gscruiserparts.com for the compressor mount/idler pulley. I got one from them. I've also got a spare set that will be going into my kids FJ55/3B conversion. I could take a photo of mine but it's real tough to see being low on the engine and under the altenator.
