...for his help
in getting my K5 trailworthy again!

My K5 had developed a frame crack at the steering box mounts (a known weak spot)
, and Kevin welded up the crack, and welded in a patch panel!
Took a lot longer than anticipated (and a late start on my behalf didn't help
, sorry about that...), and I'm thinking that I'm getting too old for this - 12 hours of "mechanicking", and everything hurts this morning despite a handful of Aspirin...
Kevin, I hope you got some fun out of it, on the one hand with the weird things GM did in building their trucks, and on the other hand with my love for grade 8 bolts - but hey, at least that little bracket for the oil cooler lines wasn't going anywhere ;p, and what's a webwheeler to do
... I owe you, again, my friend.
