He has some. I ordered s set last night. ;)

I completely missed this as well

Installed today, no hiccups, straightforward. Strangely enough, I didn't have to file down the connectors. Now I just need to do some fine tuning regarding the aim and we'll be set. The adjustment screw on the back of the housing takes an 8mm wrench for future reference to those who bought these.

Attention Dremel boys.... The connectors fit fine. When you first insert them the lip on the Land Cruiser side hangs up on the Depo connector. Simply tilt the Depo connector slightly as you are sliding it in so it slips past and what do you know - solid locked connection.

Those do look amazing.

But they still use the stock 9005/9006 or 9011/9012 bulbs, so there isn't any change in performance/lumens right?

On a 16 year old vehicle though, this is very enticing. If I hadn't just spent so much on other mods recently I think I'd be all over this one.

Same "issue" here. I just had to squeeze the Depo plug so it would fit snugly into the stock connector and was good to go. No Dremeling needed.

Installed these today, love them with the black trim...

More goodies, fog lights with LED :)

Are those the fog lights?

I already installed my fog lights, but have yet to wire up the LEDs. The instructions say to tie them to the running light, but I think I'd prefer mine to the turn signal so I think I'll go that route when I get to it. The halogen pattern is not noticeably different from stock, so I'm really happy with that. Plus they look really nice and new. I totally owe everyone some pictures, just haven't had the chance to wash and photograph since the install... soon, very soon...

That is right, you need to post up pics. :)

Can you tell me which adjuster on teh back does up and down vs side to side? Also, direction to turn the screw - clockwise or anti clockwise? Thanks

Lucky....i wiggled mine like crazy with no luck. It just would not squeeze in. What did you do for the outside mount?

Virapf,

It's the upper screw for vertical adjustment, you'll need an 8mm (or 5/16 SAE in a pinch) wrench to adjust it - circled in red.

(Also posted in the "what have you done" thread)

I'm finally finding the time to post this, but the work went down last Saturday. My initial intention was to simply put in the new Depo lights, but once I had things apart it seemed to be time for fresh paint on the grill and that turned in to painting the lower valance as well. I'm really happy with how it came out. Here's the pics:

All torn down and ready for Duplicolor Bedliner (tired of redoing plastidip, plus I like the slight texture):

The grill and valance came out great:

Some close-ups of the fogs and headlights:

And it all looks great lit up!

Here's the output, just lows:

I still have to wire up the LEDs in the new fog housings. I'm thinking to wire them to the turn signals, but I'll decide on that soon when I have the time to do it. Many thanks to @ranma21, I really love it and the wait was well worth it.

***For anyone on the fence about the fogs: The main reason I bought these is because my stockers were seriously glazed over and not really providing good light output. These are as good as the OEMs to me, and feel very high quality when you hold them in your hand. I'll post back with LED pics when I get to it.

Looks really good Andrew :)

Thanks man, I've got a night time road trip tonight so I'll be able to take some notes and make any final aiming adjustments, though it seems pretty good so far. I'm so stoked to be able to see better! Also I should not that the pictures were taken with the bulbs that came from Depo. I've got some other halogen bulbs with a higher lumen rating and supposedly a whiter light, so I'll swap those in at some point and see how I like them too.

Can we get some pics of beam pattern on a nice wall from a reasonable distance? Thanks.
Ya I can definitely do that, just don't have such a wall at my house. I'll be at my dad's tonight and I'll try to pull up to the garage. Like I said I've done very little aiming thus far, so I'd also appreciate adjustment suggestions when I post a good pic of the beam pattern.
