96 T100 wiper issue (1 Viewer)

My t100 wipers will not go back to park position when I turn them off.

They also only work in low and high , no other modes.

I have the wiring diagram and it only shows the switch to the motor , nothin in between those two components.

Tested with multimeter last night at the motor and observed the following...

With the switch in .....
Low position = 12 volt on blue/black wire and also Blue wire
High position = 12 volt on Yellow/Blue wire
Intermittent position = Blue only

Likely combo switch problems. Common of that vintage

I replaced the combo switch with a used one and same issue.

That pretty much leaves the motor assembly and wiring harness as the potential problem, unless you got another bad switch.

And... Common issues.
If it is IN FACT not the switch, the ground is jank at the motor.

I replaced the combo switch with a used one and same issue.

I posted about this years and years ago but can't find the thread. Bottom line, pull the combo switch and re solder the wire that has broken off.

Similar issue years ago on 97 T100 I replaced the Wiper Motor no more issue. As stated above could just be ground issue but I did not go that far into diagnosis.
