Wanted 96-99 LX450 / -80 series for my daughter

Looking for my 3rd LC. This will be for my daughter to use thru college. I bought her brother a -94, and found out that it didn't have airbags, so this time I need a -96 or newer. Prefer a 96/97 but would consider a 98/99. Budget is not more than $10k +\- but would consider slightly more for clean LOW mile stock truck.


My daughter wants a BLUE truck. Geesh. Make it difficult, already. May wind up having to get a paint job done, eh.

Prefer 250k or less miles, Lockers are not required. if you see one at the mall, or the drop off line at school, tag it and let me know. I'll be searching CL and CarGuru as well. I'm willing to fly in and drive it back. Thanks in advance.

She's not blue but she's clean and up to date on all maintenance. Just had all rotors and pad replaced, front wheel bearings, and a fresh tune up. 234k miles with a lot of prior service history on hand. I've been extended here in Japan so I need to let one of my vehicles go. Looking to get $9k if I do sell it

You're right ! I was thinking not more than $10k +\- + if it is a much nicer truck low mileage, - if it needs a bunch of detail to clean it up for my daughter.

Thanks, I had read that they became standard in 96... so I figured it might not have been an option before that.
