sub'd, and good work!

Pic of my ugly ABS delete. I'll clean up the lines later when mods are done. Possibly never lol.

Finally got my weather delayed package from Slee woohoo. C Diff lock switch and caster plates. I'm waiting on my 3 link supplies and as it's a bro deal I don't mind waiting. Plus I'm debating on doing new knuckles for front high steer so I can center my lower link tabs on the axle housing. If I don't go high steer I'll have to offset the tabs a bit high to clear the tie rod. Didn't want to spend the money but ordered caster plates because I needed to do something as she's pretty squirly over the summit in chain ruts. J springs and 30mm spacers made freeway driving an adventure and everyone from California knows how bad our roads are. Don't have time for R&D for home made plates so here I am.

A little play time between wrenching. Realized I need lockers bad. New tires and front sway bar removal will probably help but going from lockers to none is an ugly business.

Last time out before new shoes come. 315/75r16 Nitto Trail Grapplers coming in this week. Wanted to go 37s but budgetary restrictions and no 345 availability put that on hold. Plus I really like the stock wheels. Went with the Grapplers because I like the tread design (similar to my beloved KM1s) E load range and are supposed to be quiet. I've run Boggers, SXs, KM1, KM2 and MTRs in the past so I'll keep you guys posted on the performance of these as I don't see a lot of reviews from guys that wheel hard.

Installed Slee caster plates today and removed the sway bar. Quality products from Slee I'm really impressed with the brackets. Not used to bolt on stuff bolting on. Only mod I had to make was cleaning up one of the upper holes with a die grinder to fit the larger bolt.

She handles the same as pre lift! Taking the sway bar out barely made a difference in body roll and I swung a few corners pretty hard just to see if it would tip a lot more. It didn't. It went from sports car body roll to pick up truck. Nothing I'm remotely worried about and the added smoothness on rough roads is a good trade off. I also noticed the harsh kick back from hitting a dip in the road on one side is gone.

Tried the new shoes out in the snow and I'm shocked at how well they did. At least 5 times better than the Cooper snow tires I had on it. Had to try to make them slip on hard pack snow and that was aired up. I expected similar performance to my KM2s (scary) on hard pack and ice and was delighted to find they hook up better than most snow tires.

Thank you! I was just looking at my faded lenses today wishing I could find the clear ones
