'92 is in the right year range...the 6.5 TD changeover was in '94 for GM, so any 6.2 N/A motor or an early 6.5 TD (with mechanical injection) would go in there. Hear there is an inexpensive 6.2 motor and TH400 (with an LC 3-speed T-case) available in Harrisonburg. (smile)

But I've got my hands full already--I don't have enough time to work on the junk I already have!!!

a diesel would make a great swap in there...although I am extremely biased as I want that hunk of steel off my trailer (it hasn't made it into the garage and hopefully won't)
