Selling a 91 FJ80, 170K miles. has some body damage- to the roof from a falling tree and some front end damage due to a light collision. Pics will be posted tonight when I get home. White with gray leather interior, here is the description from the guy I bought the truck from:

It has a newer Bosal exhaust system. A new water pump, fan clutch, and the new thermostat. 4 Low works great, and the center diff lock works fine also. I put the 4 new shocks in less than 5k ago. The alignment is out a bit. The tires are pretty good. front 2 are about 50%, the rears are about 80% Michelins all around. I put a new alternator in also. The belts and hoses weren't done long ago either. The engine is the 3FE. It doesnt burn oil. I accidentally added extra oil when I changed it last. I expected it to burn off....low and behold, its still there so I figure that its ok. The trans is the A440F. It shifts fine, no slipping or odd shifting. It down shifts nice also. No leaks there either. The radio that is in it, Im planning to hold onto. The interior is in ok shape. The drivers seat is worn. The 2 rear seats are in fine shape and the 3rd row is like new.

I've bought other vehicles from Matt and trust his judgement. He drove the truck to my place from New York City without incident recently so I'd say it runs OK. I can tell you it starts well, runs well and doesn't appear to have been offroaded. The stereo works OK, all electric windows go up and down, the mirrors adjust electrically. I see no smoke from the exhaust and hear no bad noises anywhere from the engine or drivetrain. I believe the sunroof leaks a bit. The drivers seat is worn badly otherwise the interior isn't bad. Price is $1250 NOW $900. Finding a good 3FE these days is getting to be difficult and a good working transmission/transfer case is also a good thing. Located northeast PA not far from Rausch Creek offroad park. Best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net or GSCHMAUCH@cartech.com as I haven't been on MUD a lot recently.

definately a good truck

Gary,

I'm liking some white parts to get rid of the cancer on my ride. I'm interested in doors if they're straight, or at least straighter than mine. Possibly the rear quarters as well.

recently driven by a little old librarian...

bump for ya...

Bump price drop to $900

Even though I'd like to sell this truck for the original asking price of $1250 I am lowering the price to $900. I have considered parting it to make some $$$ but have not had a commitmenet for any of the major items- engine or transmission/transfer. This is a good buy for $900- runs and drives OK- was driven from NYC to me without incident. Best to email me at home shmukter@pa.metrocast.net and/or at work GSCHMAUCH@cartech.com. Thanks, Gary S

Cant quite tell but if the hatch is rust free I would be interested in that should you decide to part it out.

I thought all 3FE's had cloth interior??

PM ed you

Part it out

Frame is twisted, its hit pass front and all damage is on driver side, the pictures show frame tweeked, what do want for the front and rear axles,

Truck damage and axles

Rexman- thanks for the astute observation on the damage to the white 80, I appreciate the slant you put on the truck. I'm curious- did you stop by to look at the truck in person or were you able make your evaluation just by looking at the pictures? You obviously really know a lot about land cruisers and body damage, I had no idea this thing was so screwed up. Thanks again for your contribution to my thread and for letting me know about the extent of damage done to this truck.

I'd really like to sell you the axles. How does $900 for the pair sound? Let me know. Thanks, Shmukster
