So, it happened, my fear (a small one, but one none the less) I was heading in to work, and a rock flies up from the opposite traffic lane, and tags my windshield. Bam, chip. Hopefully I can get it sealed, but do you great folks have any suggestions on new glass for these fantastic trucks? Its only about 1/2 inch, but has a spiderline going out from one side of it...

They're pretty cheap to replace. I've been through a few.

Basically just call up the most convenient windscreen repair shop to you and have them order one in. All the quotes I got were within about $10 of each other so I didn't bother driving to the other side of town to save $10.

Easy in Oz, but not so easy for US owners since the Prado was never sold here new - and there are so few of them in a country of 280 million vehicles. All of them privately imported.

I'm guessing a new windshield would need to be imported from Japan, or maybe Australian or the Middle East. It would be great for someone to import a bunch of them to supply US and Canadian Prado owners.

We've brought a couple over for local regular customers. I'd contact whomever you do your parts business with any they could likely make it happen for you. We stock the glass for a handful of different 7x models, we've not stocked 9x stuff yet as we haven't had much call for them and we generally don't ship glass so it would be local will-call.
