90 22RE alternator belt tensioning?

Is there an easy way to tighten the belt on a 22RE? The new Napa (Goodyear?) belt that I just installed seems to be squealing on cold start ups.

Use a screwdriver on the "fins" of the alternator, pry aginst the alternator bracket. Make sure everything is loose before you pry those "fins" are not very strong. I don't rember the belt tension spec but a 1/2" total deflection (out most to inmost) is on the edge of too loose.
 
Cool. I was able to get a small prybar down between the alternator housing and the block and used the P/S pump as a fulcrum. Worked great. Thanks for the hint.
