I am trying to guage interest in my rig as I am trying to determine whether or not to sell this rig whole or part it out. The truck has significant rust on both the body and the frame. I bought the truck from the original owner about 3 years ago. In that time I have done the following.
Replaced the transmission with a used tranny i found here on Ih8mud. This tranny has slipped between 2nd and third gears ever since i put it in, but it has not gotten any worse over these 3 years. It slips for a second and then catches right away. It works perfectly other than that.
Replaced the exhaust from the manifold back. Switched it to a single dual inlet/single out cat with the tail pipe coming out behind the rear driver side tire.
Replaced the water pump and thermostat in 2009.
30" All-Terrain tires with less than 10,000 miles on them.
Replaced the Starter in 2010.
Replaced the Alternator in 2010.
The interior is in decent condition, with a tear in the driver side seat and some stains in the carpet in the back.
It has a cracked driver side mirror, but is still usable.
The truck has 229,000 miles on it but is running strong.
This pic is several years old so, I am going to take a more recent picture that shows the new tires and ARB grill on the front.
I am asking $4,000 OBO. If I don't get any offers then I am most likely going to part this truck out.
