88 FJ62 w/ poor air vent volume (1 Viewer)

AC is cold but very little air volume coming from the vents - all positions. I pulled the fan from the housing and it revs perfectly through all settings. I looked up through the empty fan motor housing and saw that the screen had little debris. So I'm stumped - what is causing the poor air volume? What do I need to check next?

When I replaced my dash pad I noticed that the foam around the dash vents was pretty much gone. I replaced it and sealed all the tubing going from the air box to the vents. They all blow pretty good after fixing all the leaks.

I just swapped my blower motor(same issues as yours it went through all the speeds, just not strong enough) with a 4-seasons on Sunday....15 minute job and shazam high flow cold air....it was $80 bucks on amazon, here in 2 days. Part #35638
....if you have prime and it doesn't help...just send it back. Hope this helps!
