$15,000- The Land Cruiser is going on the block. I am third owner of this unmolested 88 FJ62. Not a spot of rust. Original paint. One torn spot in typical driver seat location. Updated interior rear panels w speakers. Power windows all work and locks. Cats deleted. New muffler. Rough Country light bar w roof rack. Runs outstanding and AC blows cold. Of course it has some age. 252k miles. I installed three point belts in rear seat. Baselined the truck December w new fluids and plugs. Needs brakes bled. I have new calipers and pads arriving Monday. Leaky cylinders. Will be done w sale. Had planned to rebuild front knuckles also and if I do price may be more. Original manual and tool set included. New TPS. Tires 6 months old. PM me for more. Somewhat negotiable. W three kids and life just dont have time like I thought and my soon to be 16 yr old doesnt wanna pay the gas bill for it to be his kid car.

I bought it from a fellow in Ocean Springs in December. He was second owner. Previous owner drove it daily then used it as a farm vehicle and kept it in a barn in Louisiana. I pulled a carfax even though it doesnt say much. I wondered about how it only had 20k miles on it in last 10 years and it was bc of the farm. Undercarriage is clean w no rust and not painted over. Cross members no rust. I put new plugs, new TPs, tuned it bc it was idling high and it was TPS and stiff cable. Now at 750 plus or minus. New muffler and rear pipes. Cats removed bc they were getting very hot being old. I was gonna be the cool dad and give this to my 16 yr old. He is 15 and now doesn't wanna pay the gas bill for 11 mpg. so I am gonna look for something else. I dont know about lockers, hubs, 4wheel bc i havent had a chance to get it messy. I did something similar to wagon gear panels in rear w new speakers. Headliner is clean as are seats. New rear three points. Wipers work fine. Slow. All washer fluid pumps ok. AC has been converted to 134 and I just charged for summer. New starter. I also replaced headlights and interior dome. Dash is split in a couple of spots. I am negotiable. Inlove this thing and drive it every weekend. And after work. But i cannot use it as my daily bc im at a bank and outside making calls. Not practical. It would only let me load 5 pix. Ill try to get some underneath but the fluid guys and cat delete guys were amazed how clean it is.

Also, new glass in Feb w the chrome seal and new 40% tint on rear. I took pix of the places I knew were common for rust. So you can see.

Window master switch works but someone tried to mess with the window lock feature so it looks crummy. I bought the brown one to put in but it would need to be painted.

Just wanna say, in about 10-15 years, your boy is gonna see a pic of this rig and say “dang I wish dad hadn’t sold that truck.” That’s what I’d say at least haha
