SOLD SOLD SOLD87 fj60 Fairly new clutch,Heavy Alcan springs (6-7 inches),Bilstien shocks,AR Chamber wheels (1 inch spacers on front), Arb winch bumper -no winch,FJ62 axles(4:10) gears, FJ62 dash grab handle, rebuild water pump and alternator,Jim C de-smog, exhaust rusty and leaks a bit.Roof rack not included. Pretty good shape overall.
Sad to let it go but rarely drive since moving to city. In Lakewood(Denver) Colorado. Edit: Used to be my daily driver for working in the oilfield so I had to have it be pretty dependable. Breaking down in the high desert by Wamsutter Wyoming in the middle of winter could cost you your life ie freeze to death, no joke almost happened to me. I have replaced a bunch of stuff on it like hoses, belts, Motor mount (drivers side the one that always goes bad), transmission mount and whatever else would keep it from driving the 300- 500 miles I would drive it at a time, sometimes in really bad terrain and or weather. Front heater core is new -rear one is in bad shape, radiator leaks a very small amount at seem looks like an easy fix but im not a radiator guy, drove it like this fore long time. Have receipts for most stuff. 4 wheel drive works and does not come out of low. Have extra parts too, carb, dizzy, complete fj60 axles (front housing bent though), all the smog junk to make it legal as well as the rebuilt engine that lost oil pressure and locked up, head is probably still in good shape. All windows good except windshield has a crack.Have spare cargo windows, and some other small things for it. Runs good. $4000 -RobSOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD.

You know, Chris Davis in the Rising Sun club is "looking" for one of these. Might want to contact him.

Looks good! How many miles? Any rust besides the exhaust?

It's got a little bit on the left behind the rear wheel well, a bubble by the front door hinge on the outside right door skin as well as a 2 small bubbles on the right rear fender. The lift gate has been repaired but don't show up in a picture to well. Floorboards and rockers are in great shape, pretty solid body overall. Frame is solid. This is the worst of it, other than the lift gate repair. That's a quarter I'm holding btw.

Oops my bad, mileage? 180ish odo didn't work when i got it and guy said it had 115XXX or so. Engine that was in it did the oil plug poppy thing and wiped out the bearings in a rebuilt engine. So I got it with the blown engine swapped in an engine of unknown mileage that has served me well for about 50 thousand miles. Doesn't seem to use much oil since the new oil pan.

I might be interested in taking a look. Can it pass emissions in Denver?

Probably not as all the smog Equipment has been removed. I do however have all of it to put back on it.
Thanks- Rob

Rob, where are you located. I might like to take a look. I'm in Evergreen. I have an '85 60 (red with gray interior like yours) with a bad motor but lots of good parts and I'm looking for another 60.

Yes she dos have a very slight amount of rust but was undercoated with some kind of oily tar stuff that has preserved the truck very well, except in a few spot where it got wore off or maybe not fully aplied. I bought this truck because it was one of the nicer cruisers I have seen. I have put a lot of work and money into this outfit and would really like to see it go to another cruiser head instead of going to waste. It is a really nice rig especially for being 23 years old.

Factory tabs are still intact for different bumper mount options. A couple things that should be mentioned is the front end probably should be serviced. I just fill it up every once in awhile and don't worry about the drips. I lost a left rear tire at speed and it pushed in the wheel well a bit. I forgot about it till today, when taking close ups. It's kind of hard to see but it is still there. Any questions please ask I really need to get rid of this truck.

Why did you put a spacer in the front bumper? Bumper looks like it sits higher on the truck than normal. (Just wondering) Nice truck for a good price...
