Toyota's for life

I would use the parts from the 2lt in Kamloops. Looks like the engine in Thailand is a 3lt? If you can keep it stock. it has better re-sale value. I used an inline pump as you described. between the tank and injection pump. I ran a relay off of the fuel cut solenoid to power the fuel pump. So as soon as the ignition was on, the pump came on. No idea the GPH. As for spinning the tires, bahahahaha! So I have a 85 Chrysler Daytona and I am T2 Turbo swapping it so the T1 turbo will be coming off... It still spools up really well. A stock Toyota 2LT turbo is also water cooled. So I didn't really think it was a bad idea I'd just have to add some pipes and a couple of Ts into the upper and lower intake hoses. But I've been lucky and I have found a fellow in Kamloops that seems to have all the stock parts from a 2LT from 1985. I'm bugging him to send me the manifolds and all accessories. Both intake and exhaust. I should look for a new turbo though. There are CT20 kits made for the 2LT manifold and can get it off eBay.ca so I was leaning that direction. But if the stock turbo he has is in good working order, would it be a good option? He also has the thermostat housing that has the water line inlet/outlets that run the to the turbo. Definitly going to try and get everything from him.
Any tips would be huge. Was it as easy as swapping the internals on the IP and then cap it with the top portion of the VW IP?? Thanks for the reply, was a bit surprised you got back to me so quickly.
1st pic is of the engine that been disassembled in Kamloops. Second is the engine available in Thailand. I am excited for this build so I can spin some tires. I expect I may need some new injectors to really get the fuel where it needs to Be.... An inline pump is what you used after the fuel tank? And before the IP?? Any idea the GPH

I swapped the top end of the injection pump to delete the altitude compensator. It was pretty straight forward. at first start up the engine ran away on me but I was expecting this possibly. I choked it out with a piece of plywood I had ready. It only ran for about 7 seconds. I turned the idle or fuel down to avoid this the second time.
