Grease the birfs for a start and then try to keep it garaged until you can address the rust spots. Looks like you have some fun ahead and congrats!
 
Throw a new wing nut on the air filter cover. And empty the tuna can to see if much has gotten in there. And like was already mentioned, get some grease in the knuckles. Make sure it is moly grease. Prob one cartridge per knuckle. Check fluids and go from there. Looks good!

Edit- If you address the rust on the hatch, be very careful pulling the rear glass. It’s super expensive.

nice! That rust on the rear liftgate will get real bad real quick. I just got a replacement panel at the junkyard--easier than body work. Good find!
