86 FJ60 Not for sale any longer.
I bought this recently and changes in life are forcing a sale.
I originally drove this from Colorado (where it has spent it’s whole life) to Virginia when I bought it. Zero issues on the drive was fantastic, I would not hesitate to say this could make it anywhere.
Vehicle has about 262,000 miles on the body. Much of the drive line has less than 75,000K.
The only things I would do to this Cruiser are these 2 items.
1. The small rust spots (this is just me)
2. Give it a new paint job as the original paint is oxidized, It will buff and I tried in a few spots, but a repaint is something I would consider if I kept it.

• Silver exterior (original Paint)/gray interior
• 4-Speed Manual with Stock transfer case
• Seats look great, with the drivers having a small tear in the vinyl side bolster. Fabric looks perfect.
• Has SOR Heady duty seat covers front and rear
• SOR Sand mats
• Dash is not cracked or damaged
• All glass looks great
• All electrics work
• Non original Tach (Mounted in original location)
• Very little rust (4 small areas I can email pics)
• Frame is SOLID!
• Super Swamper TrXus MT 35 12.5 R16 tires (more than 80% tread left)
• 1994 vintage fuel injected Chevy 350 super clean install, looks factory
• Fully rebuilt, factory fuel injection and emissions controls (About 72-75K on this) I was told this would pass emissions in CO, but have never tested this as it is exempt in Va (over 25 years).
• Using all stock Chevy parts, nothing special nothing fancy. Everything is off the shelf.
• Safari Snorkel
• Advanced Adapters Ranger torque splitter overdrive
• New clutch and throw out bearing
• Front shackle reversal (Man A Fre)
• 1 year on OME suspension, medium front/heavy rear
• u bolt flip
• 4 plus rear long shackles
• New brakes front and rear
• Long range fuel tank (Man-a-fre)
• Front ARB (older style)
• ARB side bars (and Side steps)
• Rear Kaymar bumper with dual custom swing outs (See Pictures for notes below)
o Left is highlift jack mount near taillight (doubles as ladder to roof rack) and 2 Jerry can carrier (Jerry cans and Highlift not included)
o Tire carrier
o Hella Worklamp
• Rear full floater with new ARB locker
• 4:56 gears on front and rear axle
• AISIN hubs on front.
• Front swivel joint rebuild kit.
• New ARB high output compressor
• Air Conditioning works flawlessly and adapted correctly to the FJ60 system. Stock control work.
• Heat works great as well.
• Upgraded headlights/bulbs/wiring (Hella headlights(Currently not installed))
• Also not installed are the Clear plastic Headlight protectors
• KC highlight front accessory lights (not shown)
• CD player and 4 speaker sound system
• CB Radio
• Switches installed and set for accessory lights. Roof rack lights etc.
• Custom rear storage area (this is removable)
I have tons of extra spare parts and even a low mileage replacement transmission that all goes with it.
Here is a quick list of other extra parts/accessories
New complete Tie-rod kit (proper Japanese 555 kit).
