Thanks for the compliments guys

Rick , our trucks are similar right down to the tumor on the fake wood trim , as you mentioned many years ago :) . Mind you yours is a year older ... ridden hard and put away wet , judging by all the miles you put on in a year :flipoff2:

I think I'll go with heavy tubing and strong mesh for my bumpers , sliders ... all Line-x'd .

E v e n t u a l l y ...

T Y, giving you props man! That's sweet. Now you have to wheel it, it would be a disservice to your 80 if you don't!

By the way, i see you still left the tags on the springs.....i painted my springs yellow to match the OME theme.....just a thought since you are into details.

TY,

If you still have this set up (851/860 and shocks) above and if they are still in good condition, I would like to be the first one to grab them from you for a reasonable price. So please let me know. :D

BTW, your rig is looking mighty sweeeeeettttt. I like those 35 looks in the wheel well. Dang, you got it made.

Ty,

Thanks for the pics. Sorry, but I need more info!

Park on a level ground and tell me:
1) the distance from the fender lip to the center of the hub for front and rear
2) measure the dist from the bottom of the control arm (under the caster plate area) to the ground.

Did u say that you like the ride of this spring combo better than the 851/860? Can you elaborate on that?

Thanks dude.

Yeah , I'll keep the MT's .... sounds like good advice

Ali , not sure when I'll get back on level ground .. not until I get back in my underground parking . Then I'll measure stuff for you . I can't impress upon you how great the ride is though .... coming back from the States the thought entered my mind that the truck ran like a caddy . The bumps were more forgiving and less harsh . I was actually surprised , thinking the larger coils might not behave well without a heavier load . When you pull away on a very cold morning you might bounce around a little until the suspension warms up ... but it will barely be noticeable .

I say just do it ! I'm a :princess: when it comes to road manners , and driveability , so you can trust me :D

TYLER,

Have you seen post #43? Whadyathink?

Ty,
Looks good I am getting ready to put 1.5" spacers and the castor plates on what I already have so the pictures and info will help me greatly!

Noel , I basically thru everything in the garbage bin as I went ... but if Poser has not thrown out the trash yet he might be able to get them to you . Make him an offer for his troubles if he has them ... the $ is all his though . Keep in mind , though everything performs fine , the coils and shocks are rusted and are ~ 4 yrs old .
