I am going to come by your house in the middle of the night and transplant your money tree to my backyard :D Sounds like the front axle will be good to go, in the event you snap a rear, there are also chomos available for them. Are you going to run 21 or 23 spline in the case?? Should be a fun truck with all the new parts.

I'm starting to think Jeff doesn't own any of these--he just takes pics of random trucks and plays them off as his for a short time. :flipoff2:

here's my update--I have a CB antenna now. And my brake fluid reservoir cap still isn't replaced. Beat that!

I really just needed to put some fundage into our domestic coffer..... and then build up something I can beat like there is no tomorrow:D that is the impetus for selling the 45 and building the mini.... that and the fact that the mini was $700:grinpimp:

I ordered the 21 spline 4.7... we'll see how it goes... may go to a dual ultimate eventually so stay tuned on that one..

If anyone knows of a used set of 37" to 40" tires, let me know:popcorn:

Iroks and Locks...

I am working on the mini:)

Got the 30 spline kit and chromo hubs gears, propane kit, found a tank or two and someone to make the lines, Marlin's order comes in Monday (hysteer, rods, 80 ends, IFS box mount, 4.7 drop in's, etc)......

and I picked up these 36 X 13.50 Super Swamper Iroks on beadlocks:grinpimp:

oh yeah, John got just a little 1.5" X .120 wall DOM we can use for the flat bed/exo:lol::lol::lol:

Very nice, this will be a fun ride :D

yeah this rig is definitely going to be sweet...ill try to get the zuk done and make some space in the shop asap so we can bring it out soon...and yeah i think i might have enough tube;p...for this and a couple projects at least:D

Pulled the birfs in the mini...... longside's bell was blown into bits:lol:

Something tells me the V8 prefers the 30 spline version:cool:

John, the spring on the hub broke because the entire hub was dry as can be... got one?

nope, the only spare aisin hubs i had got put on my tracker, but a spring from any samurai, or ifs yota aisin hub should be the same, im sure someone has one;p...might be easier to get one from toyota?...my friend seth probably has one, but he's out in hollidaysburg(altoona)

I have an IFS front end laying out here. And you are going to be down on Sat. I can pull it and bring it along.
Oh goody, more work out in the cold. Global warming my ass.

lol...its only 6 little bolts...ya dont even have to pull the whole hub;p

hub parts

Jeff- I have anything you need in the way of Aisin hub parts. Let me know exactly what you want and I can mail it to you. Gary S

anyone done the IFS box swap? Should I keep the rag joint at the end of the shaft for use with the IFS box? How did you make the shaft longer (since I plan to mount the new box forward)?

rag joints are the devil!...eliminate it if at all possible...and i forgot to look and see if i have any extra steering shafts:doh:

and why do ya hate conewashers?...they're fun;p

got the front 3rd out and ready to put in the lockrighted 3rd once I get gaskets for the front and rear.

Weld up that rear yet?

I need to search and find out what to use instead of the rag joint.

Once I clean up the housing, I need to install all the long's stuff, that's the fun stuff! And I don't so much mind the conewashers as much as Eva minds the BFH LOL : )

havent had a chance to weld that yet, ill let ya know when i do

gaskets?...i always use ultra grey or ultra black rtv;)

if i have an extra steering shaft it should be one with a ujoint on the end and a slip joint in it, i think i still have an extra
