Like the title says- 1985 FJ60. 2f with a weber and header, de-smogged, otherwise stock motor. Fairey overdrive tranfercase- works great. If you aren't familiar it's a 27% overdrive that is integral to the Toyota t-case.
New within the last year:
Entire exhaust system
All hoses and belts
T-stat and water pump
Radiator boiled out
Head off and milled flat, valves lapped, pressure and vacuum tested. All related gaskets, obviously.
Front axle rebuild including bearings
Weber re-built
Brakes, including new drums in back
Clutch master
Electric fuel pump (the nice Carter, not some Napa junker)
Tires- Less than 1k on them. Savero 31x10.5x15 siped.
Extras:
9k winch on the front
Hitch
Optima yellow top
The Fairey overdrive (turns about 2200 @70)
Decent CD player.
What it still needs/ the not so good:
This is a rig that's been through the woods often! There are no panels that don't have at least a little dent or scratch! That said there's nothing huge either. The tailgate is rusting through, otherwise very little rust.
Needs the pan gasket changed (again!) I have it, just haven't done it. It doesn't pour out or anything, but it'll mark your driveway for sure.
The throw out bearing is making noise. Per the previous owner the clutch has about 20k on it, so not sure why the throw out is acting up.
The Weber is on it's last rebuild. The shop that did it said the clearances on the throttle shaft were at the limit, and it would have to be replaced within the next year or two.
Interior is ok and intact, but it's not stock (trooper seats- much more comfy) and is mostly vinyl for hosing it out. Passenger side taillight is busted (tree!).
Previous owner did a shackle lift- pretty useless. My plan was to put some OME's under it, but funding is now gone, so.....
Over all it's a decent truck for everyday use, going camping, throwing the dogs in, etc. I drive it everyday. It's sure not a "clean" truck though! If you're looking for something to make perfect or restore- this ain't it. It has had a lot done to it and I try to keep it mechanically sound. I haven't had it in any extreme wheeling situations, but it handles the local trails just fine!
It's been a good truck for me, but I'm out of cash to do the things I want to for it. My needs are changing as well, and it's just not the best towing rig.
Comes with misc. spares-
A set of 33" bfg's with decent tread
alternator
headlight surrounds
various gaskets
alternate jets for the Weber
probably other stuff I'm forgetting!

Would trade for a good towing rig- an older f250 4x4 diesel would be ideal. Doesn't need to be pretty.
Have more pics if you want them.
