84 troopy hard top removal tips

Hi all,


Weather in Seattle has been amazing lately. So i'm itching to get my hard top off. Any tips that others have learned?

How much does it weigh, top and sides in total?
Any winch set-ups that anybody has tried?
Any brackets, i need to watch for?

Chuck, the quickest easiest way is with 6 strong guys, 3 on each side! Some people separate the lid from the sides, but I think that opens up a can of worms.

What about weight? any idea what troopy top and sides weigh? with all the glass, is it more than 250 pounds? i was thinking of a pullly winch setup in my garage?
