82C thermostat (3B) is available in US

If anyone would like to have an 82C thermostat, I placed an order with Cuiserdan last week for 5 of them. Dan just called me an told me that he received them. I got one for myself, so if anyone wants one, there are 4 available.

I have been using those9I will assume its the same as a gasser) for a few years in some of my gas cruisers, I recall its t-stat for a 75-ish fj40 US spec. No problem getting them from Toyota

I don't think it's the same thermostat, thermostats for 3Bs are two stage thermostats. Do you have a part# to compare?

they are two totally different creatures , put a gasser thermostat in a diesel and the rig will never warm up . Diesel thermo has a bypass valve which helps the engine warm up faster .

Not yet, I am waiting for the connector for the oil sending unit. As soon as I receive it, probably by the end of this week, I will get her running after I return from Montreal (sold my 93 to my sister in law).

When I was placing an order for them with Dan, he said that it shows 46 of them, but he can order only maximum of 5. If you need more, call Dan and he will order them for you.
