82 Heater Valve Leaking (1 Viewer)

Just got my 82 up and running. Replaced all heater lines and now my heater valve is leaking. Are these NLA? Anybody find a substitute?

They're unobtanium. I've tried finding anyone at all that sells a replacement. The later model trucks use a very similar valve but the output on the bottom faces the wrong way.

I found this and I think I’m going to try it.

I imagine that you could use the proper late model heater hose vs ubend.

I have no choice other than bypass the heater and I don’t want to do that.
