81 fj60 383 sbc soa- $3500

81 FJ60 383 SBC rebuilt less than 7500 miles ago edelbrock carb with offroad spring loaded needle valves, also includes a used holley projection FI setup. Spring over axle, 63" chevy springs in rear, cut and turned front axle rebuilt knuckles with marlin seals and all new bearings, Marlin hi-steer, rhino lined floor, solid body, 4.88 gears in rear, front still needs to be swapped to match so it can only be driven in 2wd for now. Brake booster is out so need to push hard to stop. Parking brake barely works but wouldn't trust it. Needs a little bit of work to finish it up but you won't buy a nicer cruiser for less! $3000 or possible trade for pre-1970 car. More pics of the rust and frame? What year is the engine? Which tranny? Are the front gears included? Any lockers?

Frames perfect. Pretty minimal rust one small hole in the rear quarter panel right behind drivers wheel and a little bubbling under rear drivers side rear window and rear window. A bit of light surface rust on a few spots (hood, roof) but it would sand or brush right off. I'm not sure what year the motor is but it was rebuilt just before I bought it with a 350 block and 400 crank. Transmission is the original landcruiser 4 spd. I don't have the 4.88's for the front but I do have the original rear that has a broken pinion so if you rebuild the broken one, you could re-sell the original 3.73 out of the front. No lockers. Ugh!!! If there were any possibility of smogging this in CA I would fly up and buy it this weekend. Price is too good for a conversion AND SOA.
